Can you please put a resistor with an equivalent impedance (say 10 Ohm) in place of a speaker and publish a working circuit.

Hmmm... it didn't work. I eventually stripped down the circuit to simply a source and a resistor and it still didn't resolve. What would cause that?

Is ground missing?

I was going to float it, but I'll add reference ground and see if that helps. Tomorrow. :-)
