Voltage regulator with short circuit protection. 2N3055 and SL100 as darlington pair with 2n3055 as pass transistor. BC147 as feedback transistor and foldback current limiting transistor. Current sensing resistor is a 5 watt resistor. Input voltage is around 26 volts and output voltage can be adjusted between 6 to 18 volts. Short circuit current is around 800 mA and rated maximum load current is around 2.5 Amps. This is the beauty of it, short circuit current is much less than the maximum load current.
