Another mini circuit to test LED with a single AA battery. Only gives a flash, but enough to check bulb is ok. Handy to have on workbench. Added the 2 way switch to ground the circuit and clear residual charge so it will flash again when switch is closed.

@bfgstew ... Highlight any part on your schematic so that the oscilloscope becomes available. Then move its timescale to read 1s (which simulates real time). Then look at your flashing LED. The flash time which you set originally was so fast that the eye would not see it in real time. It was only visible here due to the default, unnoticed, slow-motion EC timescale of 2 nano seconds.

The pulse is smaller than 10ps. You can't look and see that.

Yes, the pulse is well smaller than the timescale that I mentioned....no chance of seeing it either way.
