To be honest i don't think so. It will depend on how the logic gates you use will switch on their threshold , and what you can use to generate the different analogue voltage steps. I'll be happy to be proven wrong

I did not want to make roops think that I think their circuit is useless. Quite the opposite if you think about it is to choose the right m and proper gates as said roop (this ist good traduce? Iam spanish 😁)
