Reactive Compensation

Example of reactive compensation in a monophasic circuit. The inductive nature of the charge (R+L) introduces an angle of phase in the circuit. In this case, there is a reactive power that flows between the charge and the source. Note that with the parallel capacitor, the current of the source is smaller than the current in the charge! Try it with the graphic in the time domain too to see what happens to the current.
