This is charging circuit similar to what you could find in old cellphone chargers. It uses a transformator to lower the voltage and four diodes to convert AC to DC. It also has a capacitor and a voltage regulator to even out the output voltage. The output voltage is the blue line and the orange line is the input voltage to the voltage regulator.
