Make oscillator

This circuit is from Make: Electronics experiment 11.  It's supposed to Oscillate but doesn't appear to do so. Any help?

Please, you have not connected generator. First of all, complete to copy correctly the circuit from original draft, verify all connections

I saw original, transistor used is a PUT , here only normal BJT or mosfet are.

is possible simulate put behavior using two bjt , one npn and one pnp. Search on the web.
