Green: sampled waveform
Orange: filtered output

An analog-to-digital-to-analog converter, with zero real world use (but it's fun to look at). This one uses a flash ADC followed by an R-R2 ladder with the sampled wave filtered with an RC circuit as the output.

I've also published a 2-bit version.

How u will design a DCO here ?? More precisely what best way is to couple analog oscilating part with digital counter. (Some simpl counter ideas are higly welcome) ...i can't overcome lack of space when need to deal with counter without any ic's but maybe there's an counter idea whose is super simple and i didn't know about it . So far i try ring counters ( too large sadly) normal with rs latches i pass even without try cuz it's huge..
