Simple yet viable 60Mhz colpitts oscillator incorporating BJT (2n2222) in a common collector mode. The distinguishing feature of the Colpitts oscillator is that the feedback for the active device is taken from a voltage divider made of two capacitors in series across the inductor. Its quite voltage stability dependant so use a very stable power supply.

This is common base, not collector. Your output is taken from the collector and feedback is inputted to the emitter
