Modified a bit, biased the transistors so that they will operate in active region only.

it might. depends on the DC resistance of the coil and you might need to bias those transistors so they're both just sitting right on edge of turning on, which would make it touchy.

Why not, it does even work with a single BJT unsymetric as phase shifting oscillator.

@hurz I've tested it with one transistor it works, is using the two transistors in this circuit advantageous or just a waste
