I found this quite interesting. It demonstrates the difference in current draw if the standby switch is placed before or after the first capacitor in a tube amplifier.
1 - Start the simulation.
2 - Flip the switch on the far left to trigger both standby switches.
3 - Wait for the relays to trigger.
4 - Pause the simulation.
5 - Toggle between the blue and green nodes and note the minimum and maximum current draw.
