Benb0456, Nope this is not a XOR gate, it is simply a circuit that enables a voltage to be applied in both directions across a load. You can see that none of the leds light on when both of the switches are on, because if that happens then both of the sides of the leds are going to be positive and simply the current will have no way to flow to.
