Purple = carrier wave Green = information signal Orange = Amplitude Modulated signal Purple carrier wave ~75kHz square wave created with op amp, low pass filtered twice with RC network to vaguely resemble a sine wave then amplified by op amp. Green information signal ~150 Hz square wave generated by 555, low pass filtered thrice with RC network to vaguely resemble sine wave, then amplified by op amp. Green modulates Purple via n-channel MOSFET to create Orange, the AM signal.

Why 555 ! and alk the filtering.. Input signal can just be an ac source...

Yes, kiani, that would simplify things. Unfortunately I don’t own a signal generator in real life, so I used components I do have on hand like the 555..for when i inevitably feel like trying to make this on a breadboard.

Right I used to do the same, until I realised EC only works best with arround 10 components... So ccts. Need to be represented as blocks.. Like an ac source instead of all the associated parts to make an osc.. I am sure you ll come to the same conclusion.
