You can use the 2n3904 transistor to make this projects. It's simple and only needs a feel parts. Everyone can build this projects without any electronic skills

The basic joule thief, I made the same circuit a week ago where i show how it works. Only one thing, unless your receiver is working in resonant mode, put the capacitor after the diode.

It's not the same circuit. There's no positive feedback to make this oscillate. And 6nH is the smallest curve a wire can make, so regarding stability, such a low inductance is probably not a good idea.

Sorry guys the coil turns was wrong. Actually you must turn a 22swg wires about 30times. A diameter of the coil is 4Inch...
