It works in the sim, but in real life, it might not work so well. Since so many variables affect a transistors operation, limiting the current with just the base resistors can be very tricky. I'd suggest going with at most 10K resistors there, so the transistors turn on completely. Then add resistors in series with the LEDs to limit the current. It's two more components, but it's much more reliable.

Oops. I meant at most 18K, but 10K would be better. Then adjust your frequency with the cap values.
