Il circuito di Howland è un convertitore tensione/corrente ad amplificatore operazionale, che ha anche la funzione di generatore ideale di corrente infatti, quando la condizione di bilanciamento del ponte è soddisfatta [R1=R3; R2=R4+R5+R6], il carico vede una resistenza di uscita infinita. Questo particolare circuito è progettato per avere sensivity variabile fra 0,1mS ÷ 1mS variando il cursore del potenziometro.
