((How to make negative voltage )) Note: To see the result bring two batteries and voltmeter . The question is why we need negative voltage ??

Ground the point between the supplies, and flip your top supply and you can show the difference between positive, ground, and negative. The reason for negative voltages as far as amplifiers is concerned is that it's easier to pull a source low then to invert a power supply multiple times per second

Also you need to remember that voltage is only a measurement of reference. "Ground" could easily be 10V or more in reference to earth ground. I'm not sure why negative supplies were typically used, but i do know they give room for the amplifier to swing around the ground point for ac signals. Also, older amplifiers were incapable of approaching either of the power rails so when your ac signal was ground referenced (not dc biased) it was easy to feed it through an amp without clipping on one of the rails
