This circuit demonstrates a CMOS transmission gate acting as a bidirectional switch. When the control signal is active, the input is directly connected to the output, so the output follows the input. When the control signal is inactive, the connection is open and the output is isolated. The transmission gate uses both NMOS and PMOS transistors in parallel, allowing it to pass both strong HIGH and strong LOW signals. Operation: • Control = 1 → output follows input • Control = 0 → output is disconnected Note: • The circuit is symmetric, so input and output can be swapped. If you switch the voltage source and the voltmeter, it will still work the same way. • Acts like an ideal switch for digital signals
