This circuit can drive a low impedance load from a relatively high impedance source, with close to DC bias. Here, a voltage source with 1kΩ output resistance drives an 8Ω speaker with a gain of 0.8.

Is this working in real life? When yes, which Transistors should I take?

Yes, I have personally used this stage as an output of an op-amp. For low output impedance, use any kind of complementary power FETs, even for the voltage follower stage.
