1) using the formula (-Vee + 0.7) ÷ (Re + (Rs1 || Rs2))calculate the tail current [emitter current] 2) using the approximation of emitter current Ie(1) = emitter current Ie(2) = tail current/2 calculate the emitter current Then calculate the values for collector current Ic(1) & collector current Ic(2) using the approximation Ie = Ic 3) using a typical value of BetaDC = 200, calculate the expected base currents of Ib(1) & Ib(2) Next, compare the calculated current values with the measured current values and describe possible sources of any difference between the expected and measured values. Using the calculated base current values! calculate the theoretical values for Iin(bias) and Iin(offset). Do the same thing as above to calculate the actual values of Iin(bias) and Iin(offset) Please note the use of swamping resistors 100 ohms on the transistor inputs. This was done deliberately in order to force the two transistors into a matched pair. This accounts for any variations in calculations used by spice between the two transistors that might unbalance the circuit components.
