I want to use this schematic to construct a voltage regulator for my servo motors. the batteries will be around 6v(4 aa batteries ) and the zener diodes are about 5.1v to regulate and the servo motors take about 5 volt to run

30 mW servo? Im not to sure about the z diodes. 1st they are going to waste ALOT of energy from your batteries, 2nd have no effect when servo is under load, considering the servo would be a lot less resistance than two diodes in series. 3rd servos are usually connected to a servo controller before being connected to a battery, in this situation the input voltage should be more than the output, or the controller has a internal power supply to increase the output voltage. If the controller has a internal power supply any modifications on input or output will just malfunction the controller/catastrophic failure.
