Use 1s/s simulation speed and change the resistor before the led to a lower value

300ms/s is close to real time, and a 300 Ohm resistor will allow a better led current. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5021799622639616

The resistor between pins 2 and 7 can be set at 2K and the LED resistor set to 290 ohms.
