Press the button once, and the circuit will trigger one time.Green LED will stay on for a period of time depending on the position of the potentiometer.
Yellow LED just indicates the circuit is running.
When switch activated pin 2 set high. Pressing the button sets pin 2 low and pin 3 high, which allows current to flow through the transistor, turning on the green LED for a period of time.

R=potentiometer value
C=Capacitor
R Value increases the time it takes the capacitor to charge.
Increasing the capacitor will increase the time the green LED stays on.
