Simple npn transistor example with push button and cap switch

I made this because I am new to electronics and simply wanted a digital switch at low voltage to move a higher voltage across a "thing".. It's extremely simple and easy to implement on a break board. The cap is option hence the switch... It's really just a low voltage switch to move higher voltage... Mainly because I didn't find a good example of such a basic elemental circuit using an NPN.. Hope it helps!
