L’amplificatore operazionale in modalità invertente preleva in ingresso la tensione Vi e restituisce in uscita la tensione Vo pari all’opposto del rapporto tra la resistenza di feedback Rf e la resistenza di ingresso Ri. Il guadagno è rappresentato proprio dal rapporto -(Rf/Ri). Nell’esempio in ingresso abbiamo Vi=1V che diventano in uscita Vo=-10V, visto che -(Rf/Ri)=-10.
