Green are control voltage blue are output and orange are input. Change the pot for make the CV go higher than the FET VTO.

Make the control voltage low level 400mV, there's no point going lower. In fact there's probably no point going lower than the threshold (VTO) of the FET. It's easier to see if you speed up the simulation, slow down the control voltage and make it more of a triangle wave, and make the output a brighter color. (Try width=0% rise=fall =40%.) Response seems to be logarithmic, which is cool.

@eekee thx for your comments and yes of course there is no point of goin under the VTO of the FET. The idea are to rectify the signal and send that to the FET gate and you have a audio compressor/limiter.
