Don't get me wrong, this works, but the same thing can be done with less parts. Configure the two transistors into a Darlington Pair, put the LED and one resistor at the collector, the potentiometer to base, and emitter to ground. Oh, and obviously power into the circuit via the LED. Also, it just so happens I just now posted a few examples of Darlington Pair uses!
