What a film! Was so moved i felt compelled to put the name up in gold an share it with like minded people, but may not be everyone's cup of tea ;) 
Haven't seen a sci-fi this cinematically beautiful since the first Blade Runner... can't ever forget that epic scene between Deckard an Roy Batty tho!!

The original with Deckard's narration is my all time favourite. The ultimate sci-fi film noire. Yet to see the remake.

That one would be the Theatrical release, its the dumbed down version for the masses (so i been told... soz max :P ) i know what you meen cos there is a lot of ambiguity in the story so they released this version with narration and changed the ending so people don't get confused. Yeah the Final/Director's cut is hard to watch an make sense of but there are some key bits in there that suggested Deckard is a replicant that's missed in the Theatrical release

I'd have to agree the Director's cut is far superior. I just like the way the narrated version voices Deckard's doubts about his own humanity through his thought process: his surprise with Rachel's Voight-Kampff test, his growing feelings for her, his wonder at why replicants keep photographs, etc.

I'm with you on all that, can see you have examined it deeper than I have ;) There's so much there for deep discussion... mate its a shame we live so far from each other, could of had a few drinks discussing this and quantum physics an stuff (not gay) lol
