Hit the switch(dark/light) "on" and wait intil 1 volt, it charges from the sun(white IL) in the day time to the 1.2 volt rechargeable battery(1F cap.), then at night time it discharges to the LED, but it has to raise the voltage through the transformer coils to the right transistor, the left transistor switches it "off" for the day time.
