This design utilizes the way capacitor in series and coils in parallel are added up to get the total capacitance and inductance
1 / (1/x1 + 1/x2 + ... +1/xn), to counter the nonlinear function for the resonance frequency of an LC circuit
1 / ( sqrt(L*C) * 2*pi ).
This enables the 4 pairs of switches, each "enabling" or "disabling" a pair consisting of a capacitor and an inductor, to be controlled in a binary pattern, where one bit corresponds to a fixed change in frequency.
* The step size in this configuration is 100kHz.
* The span is 100kHz - 1.6MHz.
* The formula for the frequncy is: 100kHz + bin_val * 100 kHz
* The binary value is shown in the display.
Use up/down/reset bottons to change frequency.
