Transitor is only open when positive input voltage is applied. Zener diode protects transitor against excessive Vgs.

body diode is the correct, but source and drain are swapped. in this special case, drain and source must be reverse as you would do it usualy.

Hurz I know it a silly question but why transistor when you can do it with just the diode???

because a diode does drop some voltage and together with high current its signifucant power you will lose. E.g. diode 0.8V @10A makes 8Watt while a mosfet can have 1mOhm Rdson at 10A is 0.1Watt !

What's the adventage of this over a full-bridge rectifier?

NVM. Realised I'm asking the same question as the last dude.

a full bridge rectifier does make it even worse in sense of power loss. You drop two times a diode threshold voltage multiplied with current makes e.g. 16Watt instead of 8Watt.
