This circuit is very very simple alarm circuit. You can use a buzzer in the place of LED and the jumper connection where i used the switch. Whenever the jumper is removed the alarm will be activated until the power cut or the jumper installation again.

Nice job! 👍☺ it works well but it drains lots on amperage through the diode and so reverse the diode. The diode helps induction feedback which travels the same direction as circuit but a reverse diode completes the feedback current so it doesn't damage any components.

Thats not the idea of a simple alarm system. This could be done easier. Just a resistor and the LED. The loop (your jumper parallel to the LED) in the moment the jumper is open the LED does indicate the alarm. As long its a silent alarm it might work, and even without relay. But suppose a horn a loud audio signal and the burglar just puts the jumper back in the moment of alarm sound! So the idea for simple alarm systems is to set the alarm but !do not reset! by the burglar!
