Please help on thus Rectifier without using a step down transformer. I want to have 5v across the cap on the far right end. Just don't seem to get it. Thanks and I appreciate

Well, to start... you need to eliminate one of the grounds. Either the one on the mains, or the one at the lower right corner. More will need to be done. Keep in mind that you are asking the circuit to sink quite a bit of energy. I would want to reconsider the need for a transformer. It would not only solve the step down problem, but it would also provide safety isolation from the mains. Good luck.

With the circuit as it is, notice that the current flow bypasses 2 of the bridge rectifiers. Making the rectification only half wave. Eliminating the ground at the mains restores full wave rectification. Still more work needs to change.

Safety isolation from the mains is paramount. Without that isolation, the shock hazard is very large.

Its a bit overdomplicated
