LED blinker with DC supply

This blinkie is unhappy. Any blinkie would be! I mean, a blinkie just can't be a blinkie, if it isn't blinking. This blinkie may appear happy at a glance, but it isn't because it knows that if it got built in real life it wouldn't be blinking. You see, this blinkie has no current limiting resistors in place- and that is unfortunate because the very first time this sad little blinkie gets turned on, a nasty current spike will push its way through this blinkie's poor unsuspecting LED's, at a girthy 70mA! The blinkie knows that's too much for them to take, and they will most certainly fail. There will be no more blinking, just a depressed little multivibrator with nothing to do... <=^(
