It shouldn't be surprising that a lamp rated for 3 V still emits light at 1.6 V.

Also, (because scientists are lazy as hell according to our maths teacher) logic gates often have internal power supply and ground to ease the circuit designing while in reality they need external power.

Perhaps take time to go through the Examples section. Download an app "Lessons in Electricity". Start with simpler things and work up. We are all here to learn and there are some really bright folks on here that are willing to help. EVERY app has bugs. This one has very few. Study other circuits. So, create a simple circuit, play with it, post it, add to it, ignore the jerk's comments and create more. Get a starter kit from www.talkingelectronics.com.
