Multivibrator AM - FM

The simplest schematic of an amplitude modulation i could think off was this. Just a multivibrator to which we vary the voltage supply rail according to the modulating signal. Simple, yeah. What i didnt realise at the time is that a multivibrator is a sort of an VCO when it comes to the power supply rail. So by varying the voltage we alter the RC cycle for the capacitor thus temporarily shifting the frequency. This makes is an FM modulator too. So with the simplest solution i nailed them both hahahahah

I think I need something like this for the bouncy ball circuit I made, but frequency increasing with lower amplitude

It can be easily modified to fit your purpose. You just add an inverse stage.
