Higher input voltage very small defence, no effect at the output power at aĺl.I don't know if that given is a plus for this sircuit, i mean if 2 pv's are in series 2 x 40Volt =80volts under cloudy sky, if the Voltage drop at half and becomes 40Volts the regulator it still working properly. Is need evidence of a testing.
