PWM dimmer for LEDs. Based on Dave Jones's (EEVBlog) video. The potentiometer changes the duty cycle of the 555 astable circuit. The capacitor changes the operating frequency.
The capacitor parallel to the LED is just for simulating the persistence of vision. It is not required in the real world.
