I have a problem makeing it work with a pic16f628 (got it from the datasheet) now I would love to makeit work so that I can have a CLKIN (from the pic16f628) but my knolage is limmeted to what you see here. Where the clock comes out at the end of the NOT gate it should be 20 MHz. can some one help me with a crystal designe so that it will or could work?

I know I can make a 555 timer but want to use a crystal. Is there a crystal in the parts list that I can use?

You would need to give us a more percise explanation of what you want to do... Do you want to use it as the clock signal for the MCU or do you just want to have the signal ?

the 555 is for the crystal that should be there but there isn't a crystal in the partlist. i can use the Logic train to get a wave form but whould have been nice to have a crysal. The 74AS04 inverter is used to make the sine wave cleaner. If that make snece?
