End view shown in simulator. This saved one man a city block walk to the roadside mailbox each mail day. Might look better if mail box is traveling along a wall. The glowing lamp is really a DC sewing machine motor inside top of the larger than usual mailbox turns drive wheels made of drywall or non conductor material down the two bare power wires the wheels travel along and also contact sewing machine motor . Far right is one of many posts which support the outer frames which is the large upside down "U" around the mailbox holding the wires and allowing opening for mailbox to pass under. The switch at left is DPST (both switches up or down at same time) to reverse current direction to DC motor and direction of travel of mailbox. To operate. Step outside front door, check direction of DPST switch to come to door and turn power ON. When mailbox reaches front porch turn OFF power and get mail. Switch DPST switch to send back to curb and turn power ON. Red lamp on curb post lights when mailbox is at curb station and turn power OFF.
