I have been reading all sorts of science papers, articles and watched many YouTube videos, this is the most common circuit, but I will be damned if it works for me. The idea is that I will amplify the signal of an electret mic to output to a speaker(intercom setup). But..as you can see the circuit isn't amplifying.
I've chosen 4.7kOhm for collector and 100 Ohm for emitter so their ratio gives me 47 gain.
