Change the resistor to 50 Ohms to give 20mA current through the LED. This is the nominal current for LED’s in EC, although in real circuit you may reduce the current since LED’s are much brighter with less current these days.

Electronics only requires everything to be right before the desired result can be achieved. Only one thing wrong can upset an entire day's work! Been there, done that! Easier to see ones error using this app. Costs allot less to make mistakes too! 😂👍
