Using a capacitor of the electrostatically charging variety; if I were to mount a uncharged, isolated capacitor to the outside of my vehicle insulated to prevent contact with the vehicle,
1: Would it gain a charge via friction with the atmosphere throughout my day of 80mph driving?
2: would the size, length, and shapes(eg. connected/soldered to stranded wire, frayed) of the leads improve any charge transfer between the atmosphere/capacitor?
