Crude DC to AC converter circuit

My first circuit! (Logic source can be consisting of a microcontroller to alternate between on/off instead)

Good enough for the first circuit, however, in practice, the electromechanical relay will die under such heavy switching very fast. Can you think of getting rid of the relay?
