Get rid of the annoying rodents with this circuit. Just set longer time period of the first circuit and connect a buzzer and capacitor to the output of the second one. Enjoy

Internet says mice hear 30,000 hertz to 50,000 hertz as range to use piezoelectric tweeter speaker for sound. If using burst at 10 hertz do you use long piano wire with mechanical pick and damper?

I calculate the output to be 48Hz- and that still seems a little low, but I've built a couple similar circuits and found it to be very audible..

The first is to be set to 1 minute 95% off, the second is 10 khz. This is just informative, you wouldnt see anything if it was correct

This is only the principle, you cant see 10khz signal in minute time base of the scope

Output frequency determined by: 1.44/(R1+2R2). If it's 48Hz, that's about 50 times per second, so reduce sim speed to 20ms/s (0.02 x 50=1) to verify..

Its not the point, the point is, the buzzer will beep for 5 second every minute. Waiting for 1 minute in fast scope mode would take decades

Lol you're probably right about that! That's why I waited at 1s/s until the output started, then quickly adjusted the timescale to verify the calculation. Which btw, I forgot a key part of- output frequent is calculated by: 1.44/(R1+2R2)·C

You need to be able to see super quick and super slow signals at the same time
