Real world circuit. The key to making this work in EveryCircuit is to ground the low side of the signal generator through a small capacitor to provide adequate AC input  isolation from the transformer secondary center tap which is also grounded. This allows the DC circuit to operate properly. The AC signal generator in EveryCircuit does not work without being connected to ground. Two transformers are required to create a center tapped secondary.
