Edit: important! For EC to sim properly make sure switch on left is open, press start, make sure sim speed very slow and then turn the switch on! Very cool circuit from w2aew's YouTube channel. I just had to simulate it! It's a stairstep gen. 555 controls pulses to 2nd opamp which controls output steps(sample/hold) . Bottom opamp resets 555 after certain time period dragging output low until 555 pulses get turned on again. EC had a very hard time with it so keep sim speed low. Also look up "circuit fun stairstep generator using 555 and opamps" from w2aew for proper description. I'm too busy having fun with it.

It quits after about 15 steps. Just stops and have to close out to restart

Yeah I wish it could handle simulating something so simple really. Unless of course I did something totally wrong in circuit.

Yea you configured your op amp incorrectly. Raise its power supply voltage so it keeps raising.

The voltage cant continue to go on infinitely, it'll stop at the op amp's power supply voltage.

Thx. I upped it (a lot). I do still have to use the switch on the lower oscillator to start it up once Sim is running.

Also, adjusting the sim time can help alot.
