Resistor in Series Connection

Resistors in series (daisy chain connection) form have some voltage drop across them and the current is same in all resistors. For example, if two resistors 1KΩ and 2KΩ are connected in series and if some current say 4mA current flows through them the voltage drop across the 1KΩ resistor is 4V and across the 2KΩ resistor is 8V. From the ohms law V=IR, The total voltage across the two resistors in the series network is 12V. The total resistance is given by the sum of the individual resistances. R=1KΩ+2KΩ=3KΩ Useful sourced information: https://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/resistor/res_3.html https://www.codrey.com/resistor/resistors-in-series-connection/ https://courses.lumenlearning.com/physics/chapter/21-1-resistors-in-series-and-parallel/ https://www.electronicshub.org/resistors-in-series/ https://courses.lumenlearning.com/boundless-physics/chapter/resistors-in-series-and-parallel/ https://monofindia.com/resistor-in-series-circuit/ https://www.apogeeweb.net/electron/resistors-in-series-and-parallel.html Have fun with electronics...😎
