1/4W resistor ok. Capacitor should have a rating for 440Vac or at least a 1000Vdc see https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/85165/ac-voltage-ratings-for-capacitors . Take out a good insurance policy.

Don't forget peak2peak is 650 volts. That exceeds 440 volts. Also your mains will not be perfect and is full of harmonic distortion, the distortion will pass through the capacitor and increase the amperage.

Yes as per the article, a 440 vac or a 1000vdc capacitor is definitely required.

The biggest harmonics you can imagin is the power on one! The moment you switch on this circuit while mains is at maximum 325V and the cap is discharged ! For this only the 470Ohm resistor limits the current. Better increase that to at least 1kOhm. And dont forget to put a bleeding resistor across the cap. E.g. 1MOhm.
