Drop electric fence voltage to values readable by microcontroller. 
A peak detector allows for sampling of voltage peaks and a mosfet allows the microcontroller to reset the peak detector after sampling.
Zener Adds over voltage protection.

Nlt bad. A 5V electric fence. Does it hurt you too when you totch a 9V battery?

Works well, wouldn't like the 10k to get misplaced.

LeButch: It's not a fence pulse generator. It's for measuring a fence. The 10k is from the input.

JonGretar looks good. Would you happen to have a recommended parts list. I would like to build and test but do not have the tech knowledge to source the parts.

Tried to build it. But the input of second opamp discharged the cap to fast. Is there a way to slow that down drastically?
